.Green Pikmin.

A concept of a new Pikmin species yusss !! This one is a Green Pikmin, also known as 'Nukemin', 'Radmin', or simply 'Nuclear Pikmin'!

These Pikmin are immune to radioactive sludge or radiation. While other types of flower Pikmin will gradually wilt to leaf form (shortly before dying) when exposed to a radiation hazard, Green Pikmin are immune.

Using their innate radioactivity, they can light up dark areas using their flowers. They have a normal base attack but they have a slightly lasting radioactive effect on an enemy - dealing some damage for a few seconds after a Green Pikmin has attacked an enemy and has been thrown off. This is useful for troublesome enemies which are good at forcing Pikmin off of them ..

Since Pikmin takes place in a post-apocalyptic world , and radiation is mentioned in lore, it makes a lot of sense for radiation to be one of the new hazards to be encountered in Pikmin 4 ! 😄
