Okay, this is just for those who are interested and will probably end up relegated to my scraps, but for now, its available in full resolution to see all the details. As stated in my recent pic :

this particular Church whose location I wont reveal, has an upside-down crucifix above its door. Not only that, but there are three tombstones nearby that have peculiar stylised skulls including the one seen here actually mounted on its side above the door. Even stranger is the fact that the stone comes from a different county and I'm drawn to the strange blank oval "mirror" in the centre.
Inside the church, there are some amazing woodcarvings and stained glass windows complete with an awesome pipe organ. There certainly was some serious money spent on this place ! The seats inside all have woodcarvings at the ends, all are the usual religious stuff, saints etc but one stands out as being much much older than the rest with darker, worn, woodwormed wood and shows a carving of a winged Knight slaying a monster with a sword whilst holding two children in a set of scales ! Very odd.

Anyways, I dont want to paint a sinister picture of this lovely and special place, the inverted cross is apparently representative of St.Peters own choice of execution, not some satanic symbol. Nevertheless, I find this place mysterious and feel there's more to be researched.
