Description
Eh, I've been neglecting my messages across the internet (not just here). Apologies. This was a really fun design. When this concept came to mind nearly a month ago, it inspired me to play Final Fantasy X-2 and now currently FFX for the first time in 6 years. If you are familiar with the games, you'll know straight away this is based on the "Doomstone" class fiends.
I got a lot reactions from people when I leaked this to them through my instant messengers. Now we'll see how the general communities look at the concept/design.
And unlike my two recent failures with Wraith Sylveon and Zombie Sylveon, there is no reason for this model to break in animation (unless Techne gliched on me again).
If it is not already implied, I hope to base this on the Silverfish code.
Tools used to create this Model:
Techne (for the model)
Photoshop CS5 (for the texture)
This mob was inspired by Leafeon of The Pokemon Company and the Doomstone class fiend from Final Fantasy X(X-2) by SquareEnix.

That could very well be true!
I was going to remake the model since now it feels kind of dumb but the new one was taking ages to deploy. Sooooo we'll stick with this model for now.

I checked YouTube and it is in a mod called the mutant pokemon mod.

Oh god, I hate that nickname. It sounds so... corny. xD
My mod is called "PokemonMD: Disciples of Corruption" and definitely does not have the name "mutant" in it. You can view a lot of my mod's development content here: fuzzyacornindustries.deviantarβ¦
Or you can view the actual Minecraft forum post here: www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1β¦
If you stick around, I'll be posting in game screenshots over the next week of the 8 new mobs in Alpha 0.4. I want to push the update out by no later than Friday (June 6) of next week.

TheDiamondMinecart calls it the evil pokemon mod, but a lot of people have been calling it the mutant pokemon mod.

Lol, even the "Evil Pokemon Mod" sounds a lot better than the "Mutant Pokemon Mod." At least ThnxCya actually used my mod name in his feature.
Oh wells, it does not matter to me. I only have about 2,000 registered downloads across 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3 version anyways. There is not that big of an interest in the mod.

No, I don't plan on making it so. Might make it only generate at low levels.

The WussΓ©mon company would NEVER consider something like this.

I don't really know anything about Final Fantasy or Minecraft, but this looks really neat. I'd be intimidated if something like this appeared to me in any sort of game.

Ahahaha! I hope it does not scare myself too bad when I play it myself when it is added.

Pretty interesting idea. In fact, I really like the idea of a mob trapped in stone.

I've seen a few mob concepts that have blocks come alive. I figured I would take it a bit further. ^^

I haven't exactly seen any of those kinds of monsters in the later Final Fantasy games, but first thought that came to mind was the Demon Wall boss in FF7.
Oh how I hated that sonofabitch...

Well, I haven't exactly played any of the ones past VII except for X. However, I could only get up to where you fight that aeon that....Seymor, right?...has. I could barely get past that anti-materia cannon boss before that.

I actually noticed that after I finished FFX-2 and I glanced through my FFVII guidebook I still have. This newer design is a lot cooler looking in my opinion. ^^
