Picked up this poor girl today. Got the shed off, thankfully, but not sure how the eyes are going to turn out. They both look deteriorated.

Unfortunately, after many ups and downs of eating/not eating, she eventually gave up on eating completely and we felt that she was letting us know that it was her time. We then had her euthanized. She just wasn't gaining weight even when we were force feeding (which in itself was stressful for her every time we did it). Looked like her eyes had started to deteriorate under the stuck shed, so she wouldn't have eaten on her own when placed with live food. We got her to eat on her "own" by placing "leopard gecko slurry" on her lips and she would lick it off.

Aww im sorry. that must have been rough. Im sure she appretiated the care she was given anyway and the kindness you showed her for a short time she had left.

I did that with a baby mouse i took care of over the summer. The poor little guy was abandoned found him on a bike path near a cornfield. *sniffle*

I used to have a bunch myself up until about 4 years ago. I adored them so much.

Got her off of craigslist from someone who's son didn't care for them anymore. The cage hadn't even been cleaned for a year.
