There seems to be a lot of TMNT fan art going around.. so I guess I've kinda had them on the brain recently.I haven't seen the new series.. or read any of the comics, but I used to watch the old show as a kid. I always found it quite funny that they chose turtles as a basis for heroic animals

xDDD Ohh man this comic made my day. The little turtle is such a trooper with his tiny barbell. x3 And the logic of the whole thing leaves me speecless. I mean... warthogs and rhinos running the streets of a city protected by masked turtle ninjas... IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE. Imma go out, get me a turtle now and hook it up with a crossbow and a flamethrower.
