wow, i didn't even know there was a 'text art' section.. i hope this is in the right spot.anyhow, i made this in photoshop, once again based off a pen doodle i did. it includes all the letters a-z once, and uses one of the sexiest fonts of all time - futura
most of the letterforms have been elongated, and others have been modified slightly, but for the most part they remain intact

We had to do something like this for my Intro to Type class at university. We were assigned an object (I got lamp) and had to create an illustration of the object using only the letters that spelled the word in English. A fun exercise, but this is far better than most of what the students turned out.

Great treatment of the text - you managed to make it work for you without 'muddying' up the forms to much. The colour is great too - clean and crisp and light.

ah, not really. i wasn't even going to use each letter when i first started doodling.. i just started making up a face with letters. then when i got some way into it, i figured i could probably do it using each letter once. so i just looked at which ones i had left, and put them somewhere one by one where i thought they'd look good. it wasn't particularly preconceived
