I didn't see the other reply, don't worry xD
you hid it in time before I got online xD
thank you so much! I'll have to try it when I get the chance-
could you tell me how to switch it to other shimejis?
if those shimeji are .RAR files I can find away to uncompress them to my computer and everything- but they would still work for the shimeji program on a Mac even if it were originally for a windows computer?

About it originally being a windows computer.
If its a mac now, then shimejis made for windows wont work on it.
The same if someone went from Windows to a MAC OPS. The Windows programs probably wouldn't work on MAC.
Though, Im enough of a dunnderhead to not even know if MAC is an operating system. xD
ok, wait. Mac is the brand. Your operating system might be something called Snow Leopard.
The best I can tell you is. USE the shimeji i linked. Un-zip it with something. I use IZArc. all you have to do when IZArc opens is click "extract" and in a couple seconds a new window pops up contaning the shimeji folder. You can move that folder where-ever so you can find it easier. You NEED to move it, because its location after being extracted is somewhere deep in folders you might not remember the names of later. xD its that way for me anyways.

well, provided it works, which you will want to test out. You will also want to drag its folder out to your desktop for ease of access to it. IF it works, there should be an IMG folder in there somewhere with about 46 images and an icon, sometimes a few other things as well.
If you also download the other shimejis you want, that are made for windows, they also have this image folder. You can simply delete the list of images on the mac one, and move the images from the windows one into it.
By this, the shimeji will now be the one that you moved into the mac shimeji from the windows one.
But. I honestly cant say if this will work or not between a mac and a windows one. Only because I have no idea how open source (or w/e you wanna call it) the Mac system is.
All of that is how to switch the shimeji. Keep in mind. If it works, that means you can download multiple copies of the Mac Shimeji and move the images from the windows ones into them. ONE SWAP PER SHIMEJI THOUGH.
The shimejis i use dont open with Shimeji-ee. Which seems to be a multi shimeji station of sorts that holds all the different shimeji images put on it.
Mine all run on there own simply by clicking the .exe stored inside them.
A good Program for un-zipping is IZArc. Heres a link to the site for it. [link]
Also, keep in mind everything Im flooding this message with is from a Windows user POV. So, Im sorta just guessing at how it may work for a MAC. xD
