I'm not a natural brunette or Canadian, but am definitely patriotic-ish.Also, I super love ridiculous t-shirts. And Justin Trudeau. (But he's no Bernie.)

I grew up watching the NHL in the 70s... Seemed like they sang "Oh Canada" at every game. So, I would be out with my friends (and their parents- we were little kids) and whenever we'd see an American flag.... I would stop and make everyone wait while I sang the Star Spangled Banner.... they would sigh, glad to finally be able to move along. I would then shoot them a "be respectful (how could you...?)" glance as I broke into "Oh Canada" and sang it all the way thru. Great shirt BTW..... I like the moose barreling menacingly forward.

Hahahaha That's fantastic. I muuuch prefer the Canadian anthem to the American one. Ours is dumb (and racist as hell) but yay patriotism. I still like apple pie.

My dad was from Montreal originally, and if he were still around I know he'd approve of this shirt. He'd nominate you for ambassador on the spot. He was actually a big fan of Pierre Trudeau, Justin's dad. I confess I liked them both, but was an even bigger fan of Margaret Trudeau, who was kinda naughty back in the day when she used to hang around with the Rolling Stones. I'd put her on a t-shirt, for sure.

Yeah, he ran away at 16 to join the US Navy so he could fight Hitler (he lied about his age). My dad wasn't the kind of guy you'd look at and think, there goes a real hero, but I think he was a badass in the best possible way. Since he became an American citizen, I'm not sure if I'm legally half Canadian or not. My youngest daughter just asked me the other day to write the embassy and find out, because she's sick of living in Trump's America. God, it's tempting. I don't know how hard it would be to find a job up there, or whether they would have me, but I do like their politics and much of their culture so very much more than ours. And I even speak a bit of French!

Wow. Yeah, your dad was definitely a badass. That's rad. And I soooo don't blame your daughter. I think Canada is a lot easier to get into these days than people realize. They have their own problems, but sheesh, they're a lot more human-acting than Americans are as a whole.

ha. haaaa. ha. Trucknuts define everyone around me. SCRAP THE CARBON TAX stickers on the backs of lots of trucks here. I want to find a bumpersticker supportive of the carbon tax and see how many times I get flipped off, and how long until I get run off the road by some enraged hillbilly who thinks he understands the basics of economics and doesn't constantly think about the apocalypse.
