Took some time off from drawing Furuba fanart to do some avatar art- in this case based on my Gaia avatar as it is at the moment. NB- the clothing concepts and hair are not my design- they come from Gaia. However I have de-chibified my avatar and given her a bit more flair here. The sword is my own design, though. ^.^

Am somewhat proud of myself for making myself colour it (Crayola pencils). I need more practice shading things in colour. Or rather, I need more practice with colour full stop. This is the third time I've used colouring pencils (as opposed to just sketching pencil all the time), and I haven't used them in a loong time.

Aaanyways. This is my 'character', Demon Blade, taunting an enemy. She often ends up having to fight for her sword rather than anything else because people misunderstand the legend of Demon Blade as a story about a magical, powerful sword. In fact her sword is just like any other sword- she just fights over it because it's hers. And it has a pretty blue steel blade. Once someone offered to exchange it for one with a silver bladed sword (to match her outfit better), but she declined. DB's title also gives warning for caution, for it is difficult to tell if this legend is a slayer of evil, or evil herself...

Foes beware- the Blade is after you!

DB: 'Hell, I'm just in it for the money.'
