I really hope he will be there on time!
Before I started to work on this painting, I had a nice walk in a forest. I observed how sun illuminated trees and plants around me during a beautiful sunset.
Shortly after this, I got commissioned by Ian Sabertooth and Row Thunderwolf for this work that has a nice story behind. I knew there has to be a portal and they usually are a light sources too, but I decided to include an additional light source from a sunset. I left my comfort zone and added some challenging features to this painting, but now I am really satisfied with the result!
