We all would do 
I remember the unwanted eevee from a comics but can't recall which one. They didn't want such amazing pokemon because it participated in beauty contest and was "too weak to fight"
And i felt so sorry for the little thing ;_;

I would take her home with me, Give her some food and water, get her dried up, pretty much what I'd do with any other animal left in the rain. Except I I wouldn't take her to any shelter. She will me mine and I will love her forever
