He really does look like a guardian, watching over her and protecting her. Though she too has a very angelic look about it, so they could be watching over one another.

In this case, I love how they both blend into the background - it works really well here. And I love the simplicity in this image with the 2 major colours being black (even though technically it's not a colour) and the colour of their skin. It makes for a great impact.

This lighting is fantastic. I love the way they appear to be floating in a black space.

The original has a bit more detail in the black areas, but converting it for web-display, loses them
