Things are picking up. The economists say that we're out of recession, but people still don't feel safe financially. Unemployment is still around 9-10%. Gods know the new management has helped. I honestly don't think the country could have stood another Republican President after the Shrub. We would've come apart at the seems.
"Shit" is the mildest thing I've called the current political climate. It wouldn't be so bad except that the Radical Christian Right has somehow taken over the Republican party and injects their peculiar brand of religion into the political arena at every opportunity. It's downright scary sometimes.

That's good to hear! You guys were taking a lot of strain. I must admit, 'cept for one or two companies that retrenched a lot of people, we managed to get through relatively okayish. Shane and I personally didn't really feel it, thank God. But a lot of people had a tough time.
Urgh... politics and religion are NEVER a good mix... ever!

My wife and I have gotten through most of it relatively unscathed. There've been a lot of industry relocations and layoffs. I work in education, so I've been somewhat insulated.
The ironic thing is that the religious nuts who've been trying to take over the government have applied a... unique... interpretation to our constitution's 1st amendment (free speech, free religion, free assembly, free press). If the govt tries to restrict what they can do, they claim it's infringing their rights. If they want to tell the govt what to do, they claim it's protected. It makes me sick that they want it both ways.
Sorry. Needed to get that off my chest.

Please, have it! Organised religion and I have a hate-hate relationship.

LOL! Same here. I've never had any patience with people who want to tell me what to think.

I love the girls pose and outfit but I just don't like the guys expression that much. It feels like it doesn't match the feeling of the scene that well. It's hard to tell if he is angry or just showing off his muscles. I think if she is supposed to be dying or something than he should look more anguished and if it is romantic then he should focus more on her and not be looking at the camera. If it is a dominance thing I guess it is ok but it is somewhat hard to see what the real mood is supposed to be here.

Thanks for the great feedback. Heh, he was feeling quite cocky at that point in time with all the girls around him, so it's probably a bit of a cocky grin
