Simply beautiful...where do you get your ideas from!?!?!

FuzzyYak In reply to Lizwin [2012-05-07 18:23:00 +0000 UTC]

They just tend to happen based on whatever is going on in the shoot. With this one we had an idea to start off with (gold), we had a couple of props and outfits and just went with the flow. That's when the best ideas happen - when you just pick up on the creativity of the group and go with it.

As well you should be! This is a wondrous image...and for the life of me, the best way to describe it seems to be "taut." It's stretched tight with power and force, and it seems like it's about to break. Love it.

Awesome work Johann. The warm tones with the deep blue in the background really make this shot pop...not to mention two gorgeous models. Love the pose

Ok, really love this one Jo, lots of tension in the photo..just would have made it even more so if he was like looking at his prey, going for the neck maybe? Definitely inspires all sorts of scenarios. lol He definitely has the muscle to control it. mwuahahaha. These are all just so exciting and a huge stepping stone in growth. :bounch: More please.

Hehehe, thanks Melly.

I agree with what you said. I kind of like the grin and eye contact with him, but it would have been better if he was focussing on her. Don't know why he wasn't! Have you SEEN her?!?!?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rhapsoidia In reply to FuzzyYak [2011-01-06 11:09:33 +0000 UTC]

LMAO I know right? I'd have been lavishing her up and would have completely lost sight that I was being photographed. hehe. She's drop dead gorgeous and well so is he. However, it's still an awesome photo as his cockiness comes shining through. Maybe he's like "ah ha, I got this babe in the bag, she's mine". teehee So it really works both ways....he's just strutting his stuff in this one.

LOL! I normally like it, but this past one was a son of a bitch. June through August were the hottest and driest I remember.

FuzzyYak In reply to hikenude [2011-01-07 05:12:26 +0000 UTC]

The weather is a mess here at the moment. We're getting days of rain and flash floods are happening everywhere. This after a freezing winter.

This planet is going nuts. We're all gonna DIE! *flail*

Especially with the return of Republicans to control of the US House of Representatives. Look for the US to come to a standstill or start rolling backwards on climate issues. Ugh.

hikenude In reply to FuzzyYak [2011-01-11 15:22:01 +0000 UTC]

That it is. Sometimes it's the only thing that keeps us going -- especially when the country is slowly sliding into the Dark Ages around us.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FuzzyYak In reply to hikenude [2011-01-11 15:54:04 +0000 UTC]

Come to South Africa, mate. Then you'll know what "dark ages" are. We have two companies that are single-handedly responsible for this country still being a third word country - Telkom and Eskom. Telecomms and power company. Run by idiots.

You guys in the States have it good. Trust me bud.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hikenude In reply to FuzzyYak [2011-01-11 17:45:51 +0000 UTC]

LOL. I don't think of South Africa as a third-world country. You guys are just like everyone else; we all have our share of problems. It'd be great if the idiots-in-charge would listen to those of us who know how to solve them, though.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FuzzyYak In reply to hikenude [2011-01-12 03:36:13 +0000 UTC]

If we could get those two companies sorted out or dissolved, we'd be golden!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hikenude In reply to FuzzyYak [2011-01-12 16:20:06 +0000 UTC]

We had the same situation with AT&T in the 70s in telecom. Breaking up the company fixed a lot of the problems. So, what's the likelihood of getting your two companies sorted?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FuzzyYak In reply to hikenude [2011-01-12 20:31:56 +0000 UTC]

Hahahaha! Not a chance in hell! Telkom is parastatal. I.e. it's owned by the government in part. Both of them, if I'm not mistaken...?

So that will never happen. Although they are taking SERIOUS flack at the moment for bad management and corruption. It's ridiculous! They are stifling this country SO much!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hikenude In reply to FuzzyYak [2011-01-12 22:07:47 +0000 UTC]

Well, governments usually do eventually wake up and smell the coffee. Or they get voted out. Maybe there's hope yet if they are at least partially state owned and have become an embarrassment.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FuzzyYak In reply to hikenude [2011-01-13 04:22:01 +0000 UTC]

Hahahah, unfortunately that's not how it works here, mate. The current government has an insane majority vote, despite their complete lack of competence. It's a very sad state of affairs.

It's better than it was before '96 in a lot of ways, but it's not all good.

I still love this country and it'll always be my home, but my patience is running thin and there are things happening, politically, that are down right scary

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hikenude In reply to FuzzyYak [2011-01-13 16:02:56 +0000 UTC]

THAT I can identify with.

I've said since I was a teen that singing "O Canada" is easier than "The Star Spangled Banner." Other than the cold weather, I could be completely happy in Toronto or Vancouver. Love the US, but our society is currently in a tailspin in my opinion. So long as the rubes keep Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck in front of cameras, I fear we're watching the decline and fall of the country.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FuzzyYak In reply to hikenude [2011-01-14 03:58:43 +0000 UTC]

I would have thought that things would go better for you guys with new management? You guys still reeling from the recession?

We're struggling a bit now as well. Tons of lay-offs at big companies.

If it weren't for the political... shit (for lack of a better word) going on in the States, I actually would consider moving there. You guys have a lot going for you!
