Description
This has been sitting on my harddrive for a long long time now. I put a lot of work into it but I wasn't sure about the end result. When Jordan told me that Faith Models used this image in her port, I thought "What the hell, lemme post it and see what people think".So, what the hell do you think? It's heavily processed, I know, but I wanted her to look like a doll/puppet/mannequin...
Model: Jordan Leschinsky (~Jordee )
Make-up artist: Futhi Shabangu

Your editing skills are excellent, to the point of almost surpassing your photography skills. I like the old, almost hand-tinted feel of this image. Just one small nit: maybe it's just me, but Jordan's hips look kinda large here. POV? Dunno. A really good image.

Wow, that's quite a compliment! Thanks very much Roger.
As for the hips, it seems to be the same "problem" as with Sleek . Not sure why that's the case.

Maybe... It seems that the "hips forward, shoulders back" type of pose doesn't suit our Jordan.

I love it! I think it's got a great "50s pinup with a twist" kind of style to it! It literally looks airbrushed instead of digitally airbrushed (both have their advantages, of course, but the former looks more authentic and vintage), so kudos! You achieved a great effect!
Also, I still intend to pour through your gallery when I have the chance. This one caught my eye in my inbox, but I promise I'll get around to the rest of your inspiring body of work soon. ;D

Ok first impression is awesome looking image!!! And it stays that way, but I have to agree with the comment made about the flat spot on the side of the dress, but itβs not a biggie happy you shared this with us, I think it works perfect as you envisioned, kinda reminds me of those art deco gals.

I see a 1940's pin-up poster. It's really well done.

This is really cool - I was wandering a while back if and when you were going to upload this.
Just a small nitpick - it looks kind of dark and smooth on the right of the dress.
Otherwise, it looks good.

*nod* The original looks like that as well. The dress "was" white.
Yeh, I'm not very good at manipulations like you guys

You're quite capable - I think what you wanted to achieve, you've achieved. She does look like a plastic doll and the colours are really striking and beautiful.

Don't you blah blah blah me, young man, or the first thing you'll be greeted by tomorrow won't be one of my famous hugs, but a klap!

As long as it's my famous tush you're klapping I won't mind too much.
