How what? Christmas lights on my basement floor (concrete) shot with a 50mm @ f/1.8. Effect is "Aged Photo" in lightroom.

Wow, congrats on this ver well-deserved DD! This composition is simply great. There's no other way to say it (without screaming "Oh my God", of course). I love the abstractness in this. There is no way you could possibly see that these are christmas lights (I only read it in a comment! n___n)

I admit that I adore a beautiful abstract picture - and the harder it gets to identify the subject, the more I like it.
I still haven't figured out what I'm looking at (and maybe I won't), but it doesn't really matter. You've got yourself a spot on composition, and I absolutely *love* the tones - I don't think I'd like it as much if the colours were different.
