Hi,

This is a great image. It reminds me that "nature" itself can create the most wonderful works of Art.

You did well to capture this. It has a superb "abstract" appearance. The angular shapes of the stone, and the way the light alters its feel, also adds a surreal imagery.

Great photography.

Thanks. The light itself was magical -- close to midnight on an Iceland beach

I've never been to Iceland, but it must be an incredible place to visit. I've heard people often describe parts of it being like a alien landscape because of all the lava, and volcanic activity. Sounds very surreal.

There's an excellent sci-fi movie I like called, "The Chronicles of Riddick" [link] , and it's worth watching for the amazing landscapes they created for the set. The "Director's Cut" release, shows how they made all those extraordinary rock formations. Actor, Vin Diesel stars as "Riddick". He's the epitome of the anti-hero, and his performance is exceptional.

Just a thought.
