Cute very cute. Only thing I'd say is that the face looks weird and the fur is a mite smooth. Other than that

Mmm, sounds like you're trying to see him as a standard anthro/dog? Concerning fantasy creatures, one should never assume something is supposed to be a certain way, no matter how close to standard it appears.  It's fantasy, anything is possible. For example: that's not a muzzle (which is why you think it's weird?), and he's not a dog (a bit more info in the original design: see "model adopt" folder in character section).

I was really more referring to the angle. Parts of the face look as though the rest of it would be looking somewhere whereas other parts look as though they would be facing a slightly different position. At least from what it seems to me I'm no expert but just thought I should give a lil feedback.

Not a dog eh, wonder if he gets that a lot.

Thank you for clarifying! *looks at it again*...I don't see your perspective of it at all, but interesting to know how another sees a work.

I do find myself curious on trying to see your perspective though. But this is a commissioned sketch, and you're not the client, so can't/won't welcome you showing me on the piece itself. But you're certainly free to do your own "fan-art" of the character (which is my design, so I share the rights and can give permission), with his head in that angle (ref sheet here or my tumblr).

(Please know, I don't mean this passive aggressively or sarcastic at all) It is kinda funny how people say they are no expert, but feel they can give feedback to those who (more or less) are. Honestly, not p.a. at all, just an observation (cause it happens ALOT, not just to me, but generally I mean)

Ugh, sorry to drag you into a discussion you probably didn't intend, you're free to end it if you like.

P.S. Thought I should mention: unsolicited feedback on sketches (especially commissioned sketches where the person is not the client), is never welcome: because of the nature of what they are (sketches), there is generally at least one mistake and this one has several. So it's best if we stay on this specific topic please

Well I suppose it's not about being an expert or whatnot, but ah well.

I wouldn't be able to show you if my life depended on it XD

This a sketch?! A SKETCH!? WHAT!? UUUUGGGGGHHH *dies*

(I almost never read titles of art work, mainly because I forget)
