The mightiest kid can be found in the streets, where they are left to raise themselves and depend on their fellows to survive. But even through the hardship, they still manage to keep a small part of the childhood that they should no longer have the strength to carry.

I'm glad you like. Background you say? You just gave me an idea for a background, but it'll work best if I redraw it at a more dynamic angle.
It's funny that you mention Tom Sawyer, I just saw that book today at work. Never read it myself, but know of it.

I love the style of this piece very much. I especially like the flowy feel and the clothes and design of the boy makes me happy. Also the concept is very cool. I love how you added the baseball as his little touch of childhood. =] +fav for me.
