I always saw Flame as a small dragon that's even younger than Spyro (probably around 8 - 10 since spyro is 12?) and would look up to him.
I do think there should be more changes like having a wider snout, different tail end, shorter, etc.

I think there needs to be some slight proportion differences like the actual model from Hero's Tail. Flame's snout is rounder and longer, his tail end is slightly different to Spyro's, and he has a larger body. Otherwise it's just a Spyro recolour, or if Spyro was a fire dragon.
But it does look good so far, so nice job.

His name is Flame: the boyfriend of Ember and friend of Spyro.

Ember's boyfriend is actually Bandit the Armadillo in Shadow Legacy. The Flame/Ember ship is a fanmade thing usually included when the two characters are put into the Legend of Spyro universe.
