Ok, this was supposed to look like some vintage photography, but I couldn't just use brown hues.So anyway I wanted to use the frame like you find by old photos.
The park will open soon, so the group gathered in the near of the entrance.
A random Loon offered to take a picture and nobody told Monat what's going on.
The park is in an old castle, like a medieval market! halls full of mysteries and tonnes of attraction waiting to be discovered^^
I would downplay how much I disliked to draw this scene if I say I had just a few troubles

Thank you! Yeah, when the theme was revealed we were all a bit disappointed but after we decided on medieval market as them the group was eager to draw it.

yeaaahhhh we felt the same way ^_^; we ended make a similar decision - fairy/fantasyland - but we probably won't do part 2 because the whole thing has just left a bad taste in our mouths. Eh. BUT I will definitely be excited to see how your team does the medieval theme

We are eager to finish part 2 mostly because of reward and the companions xD

XD We liked all the potions, but were meh on the companions (what is with the seahorse tail that looks so out of place on that?!)
And I still have a dozen upgrades leftover from LAST summer's event ^_^; there are too many to know what to do with!!! XD
... but the potions are nice. I'm just not sure it's worth making ourselves grumpy over for a silly art game ^_^;

I actually really like the companion, already sketched around to find a style that fits for them and let them look pretty beautiful. You could say I drew myself into love xD
Already planned who gets which upgrade and so far is everything distributed what I get through part 1.
Clearly, I hope - in case we get through part 2 - I can save some upgrades for future Loons too.
If you guys feel uncomfortable and I mean it's a lot of work, I would say there will be for sure a lot more opportunities to ear the potions.

I.... am terrible at planning upgrades XD I like to add one or two at a time and see how they mesh with the existing ones, and I don't really plan ahead very often ^_^; Some 'any' upgrades are definitely nice! But I feel like they hand out too many of them for these events and it just gets silly XD there's lots of motivation to do the events and get the upgrades that way, but then no reason to do art in between events for love or gifts, it feels like ^_^; and I like feeling like I 'earned' at least some of my upgrades the old fashioned way XD
I already feel bad that I almost never draw my first four loons anymore though ^_^; and I only own seven so far! I keep saying "no more new evoloons!" but then they come out with new species and I do it anyways XD

I can understand your point here.
I also have a few Character I'll continue to collect LM/participations/art to evolve them as I wanted. This lets me in the end with around 7 open upgrades I can maybe give to new Loons in case I want to make more.
I just give some upgrade who are shitty to get or whoa re too time-consuming.
Don't worry about your old Loons, they are wonderful and loved but I know how you feel, my first two aren't as often drawn as the others as well because they are 'finished'.
In the end, the idea on the species is to finish them and then make new once?

I just always say practice makes masters and you are good with light. the rest comes with time. Mostly when you are forced to draw backgrounds to archive something xD
