Jack the Cat is back. Not sure how practical the armour is, but it looks pretty.This is the Genesis 2 version of Jack and I think he's transferred quite well. Outfit is Battle Driven for G3F, which doesn't autofit to G2M in any way so I modelled it around the posed figure. By the way, I think this is the biggest render I've ever done.
Composed in DAZ Studio 4.8. Costume fitted using Blender. Rendered in Luxrender 1.3 via Reality 4.

Β I understand your reservations (if I understand them correctly), but my rationale for this character (which was developed over quite a long time) is that his harmless and foolish seeming character is actually a cover for his actual role as an secret agent and assassin. I don't think that is implausibleβin fact there are historical precedents for it. I'm suprised, though, that you didn't comment on his absurdly impractical armour. I would tend to consider this as an artistic and idealistic rendering not unlike those classical paintings which had little basis in reality.

This is an attractive and interesting portrayal of Jack in warrior mode but please do NOT have him run through a thicket in such a skimpy outfit! Ouch! My best, WWL

Yes, you are right. The "soldiers" render was using an older model base, and although that image is probably the iconic and canon one of him, I didn't feel I could take him any further with that model. So for this I had completely recreate him (although with the same textures) and was able to make his ears more like I really wanted themβstill rounded like cats', but more prominent.

Very beautiful! It really makes me think of the kind of world I always dreamed of, where men stay ever young and "kill" each other with the beauty of their weapons and bodies, so the only question in a battle is whether one gets on top or bottom 
I also love it that you made his ears also quite cat-like in this render, I think they used to be more human-like before? All these feline features are so pretty! :3

I'm so pleased you like him, Ziffler. Jack is my most popular character, so I was well aware I had to do him justice if I was going to bring him back. I'm pleased this new version of him has been such a success.
