Thanks. I think it interesting to see the original sketches from time to time. :/ It is funny how sometimes the finished piece hardly resembles it. In the end I made the deer a bit smaller and younger kinda like a sexy singer meeting a young fan. I actually wanted the background to be the everfree forest with beams of light coming down in the back ground.

I my mind the story had Melody Breeze walking into the forest looking for inspiration for a new song. She finds a small clearing and finds herself overcome by the beauty of nature. Inspired, she sings a gentle melody and this attracts the deer. A mutual sense of awe overcomes both when the little deer peeps out from the shadows and approaches her.

Yus all my pics have a storyline to them I just rarely share. My mind works in stories. :/ Odd really. XD Alas I presently lack the skill to do a proper background. Maybe someday.
