my friend is like...in love with Linux...except for the fact that it won't work on his computer.

Linux is probably easier than you think now :] If you got a version like Red Hat (which is ubereasy to install) then installed 'Ximian Desktop' over it, it looks and feels awesome to use. Ximian is kinda like an add on that simplifies lots of things in Linux. Check out [link] for screenshots

Pitty there aren't really any decent gfx apps out there for Linux yet :/ I'm still waiting for the day they port Photoshop over ;P Mwuhaha.

lol, I don't Well.. I do.. because I use PSP anyway ;P But I use Windows for my workstation and Linux on my servers. I use too many apps that aren't available for Linux, else I'd definitely switch!
