Man, there's better write ups on this sort of thing that I've forgotten to save, but in a nutshell- some people just find the extra softness along with a bunch of other aspects (bigness, hedonism, indulgence etc.) cute. Often to more of an extent in fictional stuff because, rather than in spite of any sort of real life issues with size- because hey, pushing things in silly ways is one of the reasons we write and draw etc.
Most of us actually fully realise it's 'weird' and all, so in return I'm totally okay with whatever happens to float anyone else's figurative boat. Everyone has their own bundle of kinks, visible and invisible, and things only seem to get really ugly when people start arguing about whose are better or more normal.
But yeah, I hope that clears at least a few things up. Have a good one.
