My last upload for 2009....... adding to the endless piles of Avatar fan art out there, but I needed to do this. A really cool movie on it's own, Neytiri made Avatar fantastic; passionate, intelligent, powerful and beautiful, the actress and animators created a fantastically complex character that really won me over within the first few moments of her introduction.This is my homage to the character's coolness and more exploratory surgery on the complexity of Photoshop!

This is my favourite pose of her, and I'm surprised no-one else has drawn it so far. Do the one where she hisses and I will love you and be like "OMGWTFBBQSAUCE" to all my friends xD Not seriously...but I really think you'd do a good drawing of that pose with her hissing at that army dude who turned evil

I like the hissing pose too, but I like the peaceful look for this one. That's one of the cool things about Neytiri's character, is that she's emotionally versitile, and can show a ton of emotion. I'd like to try one of those mobile suits too, but don't know if my skill level's up to par! Thank you for commenting though, I very much appreciate the favorite and the input!

Actually it's my Photoshop painting through and through! I just used pics I found off the internet as reference for colors and pose and all that stuff and painted my all original Neytiri & background from it!

Thanks man, she was a lot of work and I'm really stoked with the end result.
You should see the movie too, the creatures and world are really jawdropping and it's only exemplified by the acting (mainly Segourney Weaver and the girl who plays Neytiri, Zoe Saldana). But yeah it's drool worthy and worth $10 to see in the theatre!
Did you also notice this is Photoshop? Not a Vector Path in sight! I'm growing up Mr. Gecko and LOVING IT!
