this is extremely messy in the sense that i wasn't really trying to be all that clean from the get go.

the character in this piece is valentine from The soon to be released 2d fighter skullgirls. she is a ninja/nurse and pretty much fights like one.

i tried a lot of new things in this piece and learned some neat tricks including how to color fill quickly without the magic wand or a big, inaccurate brush. took a nod from [link] 's more recent pieces and tried some gradient tricks. in short i learned way too many things to list.
