practice, i can do better but i wasn't i the mood to paint.
i think this image was probably to advanced for me to try and paint anyway seeing as it doesn't really have clear lighting. these look so much nicer in pencil.

but all is not lost.
before i lost all of my patience i figured something out. whenever i shade in pencil i pay attention to the contours of the lines and the shape of the figure and basically i almost never shade in a straight line. next time i paint i'll have to not paint in a straight line in my next painting.

anybody know of any good painting tutorials of techniques cuz i sure need them.
