this is was a quick drawing i did in my AP art studio class.my teacher was kinda happy that i branched out and did something else but she along with a couple of friends said that this doesn't really look like me.
and so i asked my art teacher for some hardcore critiquing and she said "the eyes are too small, remember that some of your facial features are sharp and hard edged(eat something too), for a sketch this isn't bad but you might want to consider going darker, don't forget to measure the distance from your tear duct to the end of your nose."
etc, etc, much more. she really let me have it but in a way i consider a good thing. whenever i asked her to critique my manga stuff she always just kinda said "well that's good' or "that's bad". but this time she actually gave me a full fledged opinion of what she thought.
to my watchers i am just a little bit sad to say that i will be slowing down on the manga style for now and just going to do some realism.
imagine how happy i would be when i finally draw myself and it looks like me completely!!!!!!

Hey geo man dont feel bad i cant even pull off realism, so you doing this makes you better at real life by that much, we both gotta keep working on it.......i know how it is with real life so i cant troll on this since im trying to break out of my anime side, just try harder next time is all i can say

Hey man! Good to see you've started studying.
Try to get your lines more confident, now they are all hazy and stuff. It eats a lot from the picture.
Now the propotions seem a bit wrong and it's "twisted", in a lack of a better word. You should start by simplifying the basic shapes, and then start going further and further into detailing and refining. And don't be afraid to push the pencil

yo! i know this has nothing to do with visual art. but i'm staring to make music now in my piano class.
it is really hard to come up with beats since i am so used to playing from sheet music, it's like my imagination is stuck on stupid.
