The title refers to Maria's existence...but she is probably the best lapse in James' judgment ever; she's such a fantastic character.Picture by my boyfriend.

My costume, the wigs and James' shirt/boots/jacket are my work, as is the editing in the picture.
I so don't feel like doing homework or reading right now...I hate starting classes again.

Though, cosplaying aside, I HATE those two. Maria's a bitch. And James is an idiot. When I found Harry dead in "Silent Hill 3" I yelled, "Why couldn't it have been James?!"

James could have been a better protagonist...but he was amusing at times.

It's okay haha, Maria is very bitchy...and James is not for everyone. I personally love them, mostly because they are both quirky characters. No worries

To be honest SH2 had one of the most heart wrenching stories of the series... When I found out what James did... why he did it... and how the act itself caused all this pain for him you can't help but like the guy. Maria was so vibrant and healthy and obviously the spitting image of his wife, you could tell James made a version of how he wished his wife could be. At least that is my opinion.
Cosplay wise I like the attention to detail that you do and that you hand make the clothing articles... I don't even think I could follow a pattern all that well -.-

Yeah, it's really kind of funny how the protagonist is not a "likable" character based on his actions, but from what we see of him in the game most players grow to care about him and are sad when they learn the truth. I definitely agree with you; Maria is a sexy Mary...she's all the things James wished Mary could be but wasn't.

I need to man up and just start wussing out about something I'm unsure of but it is just so easy to cinch some clothing together or just add a zipper than to make all of it >< That and after making my sword (which was A LOT OF FUN) I can enjoy the prop making aspect more.
Are you looking forward to downpour? From what I've read we're going to playing a convict... if the current silent hill trend of increasing severity holds true then Silent Hill seen through the eyes of a criminal could prove pretty messed up ><

Hmmm that's a good question. I'm not a fan of how cocky they are about this game's ability to wow us...and I'm rather annoyed that they are reusing the water motif from 2 and pretending that it is original (or at least I feel like they act that way in the interviews). And those screamers have me a little worried, unless they can make it make sense like they did in Shattered Memories.

I just need a good game in general. SH just happens to have my attention because it's been FOREVER since I've seen a game from that franchise... I think the last one was Homecoming...
