I just realized that, as always, I have something reversed. This time it was her ammo pouch and holster. Apparently she's left handed, because I had it configured as if she were right handed. I tried finding my reference shots quickly before running out of the house to get photos but I couldn't find the ones that actually showed her pouch. fml so much, I will never get this stuff right. I'm mostly annoyed I just counted on her being right handed because that's what messed me up. My set up is cannon for ONE photo, the one of her on her motorcycle.Anyway, though this photo is not set in a diner, it is supposed to represent the ironic scene where Cybil gives Harry the pistol (and then magically has one in its place later on). My wig/face/shirt were overexposed I think, so I tried to make the fake fog cover it a little. Sadly a lot of photos ended up with my shirt looking washed out.

That's too bad you weren't able to get the lighting effects you wanted, that's really hard huh? :/ Still, I don't think it changes the fact that your followers (myself included) really enjoy this shot!

HAHA I LOVE THAT THOUGH. It is like, if Harry wasn't a very blocky set of polygons, this is how he may have looked! Interpretive cosplay in a way?
I knowww, argh. Photoshop is a skill/artform in itself, and so even afterward I can never get it just right. But I am glad you still like how it turned out! (Diner-less aspect and all lol!) I suppose the fog is actually rather bright in SH games because there is just so much of the stuff.

You are always my favourite Silent Hill cosplayer. (Tied with that one Lisa whose prosthetic work is like HOLY SHIT) And I want your pants. XD
If you don't mind a suggestion, try dicking around with the exposure in PS, and maybe an Overlay layer, it might help with your shirt problems. It looks great as it is, but that's what I tend to do when stuff comes out over-exposed.

I'm always happy to help, but I hate the idea that someone'll take it the wrong way and think I'm ciriticising! XD;; I've been messing around a lot on there lately, especially for Silent Hill/Resident Evil stuff. Because nothing says SH like a well-lit room, LOL.

Aw! Well you don't have to worry about that with me, I promise! I really do want to improve (and I am the first to admit I have zero photoshop skills so I can always use pointers). My best edits came out of friends making them for me, so if I ever want to get on that level I best learn!
OH LOL, it's ok, I know how that is! Most of my SH stuff up until now has been during the day because I had a bad camera that couldn't handle anything less than full sun exposure >< I'd love to see your SH stuff!!

Practice, practice, practice! Try everything, and always start by copying your base layer. So that it stays safe in case you have to start again, and also so you can see how badass the finished version looks compared to what you started with. XD
My SH stuff will be up eventually! I've cosplayed far too little from it, and what I have cosplayed, I have no photos of! Except Mary. I have like a butt-ton of Mary. >.>

LOL There was a time when this was the only game I ever wanted to play and for the darkness and everything psychologically disturbing about it, it made me happy so odds are, I will remember all the dialogue 200 years from now LOL. Glad to see another fan who still loves the first game!

Aww thank you Michael! I just could kick myself considering the fact I actually DID think about it for once before the photos!!!! And then I was just in such a rush, but at the same time it wasn't worth messing up that detail.
I am happy they stand out. It was a good sewing accomplishment for me. One of the things I liked about this particular photo was that it makes my femur look sooooooo long lol.
