* New Pokémon Species: Vanilluxe from Hoenn 

* Type:  

* Ability: Snow Cloak. Boosts evasion in a hailstorm.

OR

Solid Rock. Reduces damage from supereffective attacks. 

* Pokédex Info: "To defend itself from Fire-type Pokémon which inhabit Mt. Chimney,it adapted to the rocky environment and developed the Rock type." 

* Evolution Line: Vanillish evolves into Hoenn Form Vanilluxe at level 47,only in the Hoenn region. 

* Habitat: They mainly live in the sides of Mt. Chimney,particularly on the Jagged Pass.  

* Why the change: Due to their original and funny physical appearance,Vanillite got very popular with foreigner Trainers in the Unova region. So,they started to bring these Pokémon with them in their home regions.

While Vanillite adapted very well in Kanto,Johto,Sinnoh,Kalos and Alola,they didn't feel at ease in Hoenn,when cold places are scarcely present and there is an abundance of Fire-type and Rock-type Pokémon.

Many Trainers started to release those Pokémon in the wild as they couldn't resist Hoenn's climate and thus weren't excellent for training.

Throughout the years,Hoenn's Vanillish population-which had slowly evolved from the Vanillite that were released-grew more and more and started to move to the Jagged Pass,the rockiest place in Hoenn. Thanks to the large presence of Fire-type Pokémon here,the Vanillish grew stronger and stronger,and finally gained the Rock-type as they evolved into Vanilluxe. The rocky environment of Mt. Chimney's sides gave them an affinity to rock,and so they exploited the change of type to better resist Hoenn's heat.
