As he covered her body with his sacred red cloak, he heard laughter rising from behind him. He heard the sound of Dread himself, dragging his chains against the ground. At that moment, Pantheon felt the warmth of the sun leave him while he knelt above Leona's body. He took her shield and turned to face Thresh, the burden was unfamiliar and heavy. Deep within, a fire ignited and flared out from the darkness of his helmet. His feet slowly marched, then began to run, and launched himself into the air towards his enemy.

Thresh arched his head back swinging his chains and continued to laugh as he absorbed Leona's soul. "You're next boy, I'll have you join her!" He growled and proudly dangled his lantern at the charging spartan.

Pantheon, with eyes ablaze in hatred and his face shrouded in blackness, answered, "She called this the Heartseeker! And he smashed Leona's shield into Thresh’s face so violently it nearly took his feet off the ground before the spartan utterly drilled the body of the Chain Warden into a cavity with his spear.
