Description
Ananchel sighed as she sat on top of the townhouse across from Cole's. It was the weekend, and since Grace and Cole never met on the weekend Ananchel was forced to sit on that roof and watch the building. This was boring and annoyed the winged being greatly but after 144 000 weekends of doing this, or perhaps more, the pale purple-haired celestial had gotten used to doing this."An attack right about now would be nice." Ananchel grumbled, sighing again. A light rainfall caught her attention and a smirk played on her lips as it became one big jet of water which shot at Cole's house. Words unheard by the human ear left the celestial's lips and lightning crackled from her outstretched palm. The lightning hit the water and shot upwards, towards the sky where it had come from. Moments later a scream heard only to Ananchel's ears filled the area and after a bit stopped.
"Ananchel." Came the voice she instantly recognised as Umbra from in front of Cole's townhouse, causing the smirk on her face to turn into a gentle smile.
"Hello Umbra." Ananchel said in return. Judging by the frown on his face he was unhappy with her again. She inwardly groaned, wondering what she'd done wrong this time.
"Stop making so much noise, I'm trying to do homework." Umbra growled and Ananchel than frowned. She had just saved him from Lucifer again, as had happened every weekend during the 3 000 years she'd been watching him, yet he was simply angered that she had made too much noise.
"Sorry...Lucifer attacked again." Ananchel apologised half-heartedly. Lucifer wasn't exactly quick when it came to smarts, if he was then he would have attacked during the week when she took the form of Grace Angél and was unable to use her powers. Then again...it was highly possible he knew that but did not want Ananchel to be hurt, with him thinking she was his soul mate and all, despite her being a celestial and him being a demon.
"I'll try not to make him scream next time." She added with a sheepish smile.
"Good." Umbra said coldly, returning to the form of Cole and went back into the townhouse. Ananchel sighed sadly, looking after the boy with hopeless longing. She wished dearly for his love, even his kindness would do at this point, but it had never been given to the purple haired celestial.
"The last day of public school...will be the last day Cole Black ever sees Grace Angel." Ananchel whispered, her eyes cold and uncaring. She had decided this after the meeting with Annie James.
After all, what point is there to staying in that useless form if Cole does not love her? The celestial thought for the hundredth time that day. Ananchel's attention was brought abruptly back to Cole's home when she saw a girl walking towards it. It took the winged being a few moments to recognise her as Belldonna Nitmar, a girl in the same class as Grace and Cole. The beautiful celestial had to resist the urge to send her signature lightning at the girl when she reached his door and rang the doorbell.
"You're way too possessive." A voice from behind the lightning user grumbled, causing her to point her open palm over her shoulder at them.
"Shut up Lucifer." She warned him coldly as Cole opened the front door, looking surprised but not at all angry to see the human girl. They began talking, Ananchel wanting to fly closer to hear them but knowing that doing so would draw the black haired half-celestial's attention to her.
"Yeah, I'll see you on Monday." Cole said to Belldonna, his voice too loud to be natural. Ananchel was fairly sure Cole just wanted to make her more ticked off at the human, Ananchel saying the words the used to summon her lightning, shocking the innocent Lucifer to the point that he fell off the townhouse roof Ananchel was still sitting on. Lucifer slammed into the ground, his body spasming from the lightning. Cole, apparently not noticing Lucifer or Ananchel, smiled after Belldonna as she left and went back into his house.
"Wednesday will be the last day you see Grace, young Cole...use your time wisely." The pale purple haired celestial muttered as thunder and lightning crashed in the distance and rain began to pound the earth.
