“Balto! Please wait!” Jenna struggles through the cold Alaskan snow trying to reach the wolf dog she loved dearly. No matter how much she cried for him he kept walking. “Balto, please!” He was getting tired of her yelling if this kept on Boris would end up chasing her off. With a sight Balto turned to face the husky with and agitated face.

“What do you want Jenna? Haven’t you done enough?” Jenna’s ears dropped in response. “I wanted to say I’m sorry for”- “for what!? Shattering my heart? Giving me hope and then shooting me down?” Balto growled. “I tried EVERYTHING to be accepted, to get you to see the true me! I loved you Jenna! I went to the ends of the Alaskan wilderness for you! I dragged 50 pounds worth of medicine to Nome through the ice and you still chose Steele!” tears now pricked Jenna’s eyes

“Balto, Steele’s human offered my human money! A thousand dollars!” “So money is worth more than love!?” Jenna backed up in fear of his wolf like glare. “Balto please just listen”- “No Jenna! I’m done listening I tried! You know what! I’m sorry! Sorry I thought a pampered princess pup like you could understand that there’s more to me than a wolf!”

Jenna stood in utter shock speechless at this dog whose heart she had hardened. At that moment Balto had enough. Jenna gave a yelp as Balto growled ferociously at her chasing her back to town. Once she had looked back she saw Balto standing on a snowy hill top. He gave her one look and then released a powerful howl into the air. Jenna watched as ran back to his boat. With a heavy heart she galloped back to her home and settled into her warm basket with her newborns sobbing. Looking down at the young wiggling bodies below her. Scooping one up in her paws she sobbed into her speed saying “beware of the wolf my pups.”
