Description
Most of you already know that Rosalina is a playable character in Super Mario 3D World, in addition to Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Blue Toad (I ran outta space in panel two so I decided to put Luigi in with Daisy in the last panel).
Speaking of Daisy.. wouldn't she be pretty upset/angry that Rosalina made it into the game, but she didn't? Rosalina was an interesting addition, but it seems like Nintendo wants to confine Daisy to the spin-offs. Who knows, maybe Daisy will make it into a main Mario game someday~
(SM3DW is already released in some areas btw, so I'm late xD)

It would be a good idea but daisy was never that popular to began with the only main series game she appeared in was super mario land and then they just pushed her aside to the side games.

Sadly, Daisy's history has mainly been built around "not being Peach." From her first appearance in Super Mario Land, her main purpose was "be a damsel in distress who isn't Peach," and then she was brought back for the spin-offs to serve the role of "human female who isn't Peach." Rosalina, at least, had the Lumas and vaguely established magical powers from her first appearance, so there was something unique to expand on later down the line, and she was a wise guide instead of a different princess that had to be rescued, so her role was more unique; really, it's easier to treat Rosalina as more than a Peach stand-in because, unlike Daisy, she never WAS just a Peach stand-in.
Sadly, Nintendo just doesn't seem interested in expanding Daisy's role in the Mario universe, no matter how much some people would like them to. Maybe someday, someone from a younger generation will get into a position of power at Nintendo, take all the spin-off characters like Daisy and Waluigi and say, "Hey! Let's DO SOMETHING with these guys!"
