Isn't she beautiful?about 5"x9" on bristol paper with Bic mechanical pencil.
She took a week to complete because I just couldn't successfully get her on paper, but now she's done.

This drawing in my completely un-artistic, un-professional opinion, is technically great! I don't know what it is about her that sort of makes me stare. She kind of gives me the willies, but I also feel like she's that one kid in school that all the "cool" jerks were picking on and you just wanna go over and take her with you to the safety of the jungle gym where she gratefully shows you her notebook full of amazing and disturbing poems and sketches. Then you kind of nervously grin and think "huh, this kid is creepy, I'm glad she's on my side".

*grin* that's the bloody government for you. BUT all we have to do is make a stink. Before I do that on my end, you see what you can do on your end. The people here are blaming the people at your PO for not telling you it "had to have cardboard to make it stiff so they would know not to bend it". that HAS to be crap, and is BS according to the PO managers here. You ask your people (tho quite frankly how can it be something they should take care of, MY people bent it... BUT maybe your people can call my people and talk some sense into them) then we'll go from there. The middle manager I was talking to was Laurie 775.884.2300 She was on my side but said her people said they would "raise a stink" if I tried to get the insurance because of the no-cardboard ting. I say it was a special bubble package marked HANDLE WITH CARE and DO NOT BEND, how does that give them license to fold it and stuff it into a PO Box?? I say we FIGHT IT! Whoo hoo! I'm going to take photos of the bent packaging and drawing and send them to you, then you ask your people and we will go from there, k?

Brian thinks I should go down to our post office again and make a fuss since it was our guys who bent it. I'm going to Sacramento today and will be gone for 4 days but when I get back I'm going to do just that. I'm going to fill out the form, and if you can send me a "bill" via email for $100 for the painting I think that would help, too
