Thanks man. Both are Feathered. I did take slight inspiration from the JP for some of the features, but I stuck mostly to the book's description of them.

Just wait till the colors come in, this scene is particularly graphic as are many of the dinosaur kills in Primitive War. Soldiers and scientists alike get bitten in half, stomped on, and massacred like red-shirts from a Star Trek episode.
