My headcanon: after the events of Destroyah, Junior grew up and disappeared. He reappeared and caused the accident that landed Akane a desk job. Headcanon for the story im doing has the Godzilla from the Kiryu duology actually be Junior.

I was watching GxMG and Godzilla seemed more hesitant...not a monster who has been in many battles and thats where i got the idea. On that front his confusion after dying and coming back with more power would make the gentle giant go slightly mad, hence his attacks.
Im combining elements of KiryuGoji, Junior, and LegendGoji. May even base part of the look on the Godzilla from the unproduced VS Gryphon movie.
