Based on the new images that were released at Japan's Niconico event. The maquette really gives an insanely detailed look at Shin'Gojira's scarred body. But anyway I had to make a new body illustration based on it. Just couldn't pass it up
. Also it feels great to go back to traditional style again after a while of mostly digital.

Just a number 2 mechanical pencil and a pilot pen. That's about it.

Thanks Jake. Yeah turns out the pen was sitting under my dresser for who knows how long. Probably over a year seeing how it was pretty dusty when I picked it up. Still works like a charm surprisingly XD. I have to say these Pilot brands are pretty good. Need to pick up more hahaha.

I decided to buy some Fine & Extra Fine pointed Pilot pens from WalMart. I think that is cheaper than the Faber-Castel's and should be a bit better than the BIC pens.

Honestly I prefer doing traditional myself. Digital is fine for more productive reasons, but nothing beats the pencils and paper. Especially for creating fine details. Stuff you just can't copy with digital.
