CC-0417 'Shades'

CC-0417 was a Captain in the 101st Fast Attack Battalion under Jedi General Ito Rikki, Padawan Hallena Daes, and Clone Commander Tomes. Shades' first action was during the First Battle of Geonosis, where he was among the first clones to land on the planet's surface. Due to his performance during the battle, he was recommended for training as an Advanced Recon Force Trooper, a (at the time) new class of Clones specializing in recon, ambush, and fast attack operations. Shades, having already received ARC training in Alpha-17's program, became one of the first ARF unit leaders, sharing the privilege with other skilled clones such as Commander Trauma. Following his induction into the ARF, Shades served in battles such as the 1st and 2nd Battle of Rhen Var, the skirmish on Elom, and the battle of Kamino. It was on Kamino where this trooper met his end, as he and his squad of ARF troops attempted to delay General Grievous, and were killed to a man. He was notorious for his bad luck at gambling, and was often found playing Sabacc when on leave.
