The first in what I plan on being a series.Here is the Arch Angel Gabriel.
We all knew him at first as The Trickster (Season 2 Episode 15 Tall Tales: Season 3 Episode 12 Mystery Spot) but eventually he was forced to reveal that he was the Arch angel Gabriel when the Winchester Brothers trapped him in a ring of Holy Fire (Season 5 Episode 8 Changing the Channels).
Gabriel joined the boys very recently and very briefly on what the boys Christened 'Team Free Will'
Gabriel is now Dead after having basically sacrificed himself to let the boys get away from Lucifer while he stayed to confront his rebellious and violent brother (Season 5 Episode 19 Hammer of the Gods).

In your description though, you said Hammer of the Gods was season 5 episode 18. It's actually ep. 19. (I'm so crazy about these kinds of things, sorry XD)
