Though I'm not sure how much of a bond they'd have, seeing as Thorn was forced to hatched for Murtagh right? I'm just reading Inheritance now, no spoilers!!

I always knew that, if they could break free from Galbatorix, they would fly as far away as possible from everybody.
All Murtagh has wanted was to live in peace and without fear. All his life people have wanted him dead, for no more than being his father's son. He wants to be allowed to exist.
Now he has Thorn, the one living being he never has to be afraid of, who would never hurt or betray him, whom he can trust with his life, who understands him completely.
He isn't alone anymore...
