Description
I love this painting. As in all good paintings it painted itself!I wanted there to be a contrast between the warmth of the fire and the cool of the morning light.
Painted in watercolour with bodycolour highlights and ink outlines.

I love your illustrations! If you don't mind me asking, what brand of watercolors do you use. I'm trying to invest in a good set, that are high quality.

When I started painting I tried to save money by purchasing cheap no-name brands.... I realised I was doing myself and my work injustice and have since used Winsor & Newton. Although expensive they are a reliable brand with a long history of top artists.
I'd recommend getting a select number of colours - 14/32ml tubes - of colours instead of a box set...Good luck
