Might I ask how you accomplish such a perfect planetary shadow like the one on the planet in the far back?

Well, my main monitor is 1920x1200 and if I would put a smaller wallpaper, it would either get stretched or have black areas around the picture. On future monitors this problem will only get worse as they will have, and some already has, a lot bigger resolutions like 2560x1600 and 4K (4096x2160). It will always be a problem to scale up, as opposed to scale down, which is very easy without quality loss. So for your own sake and for future preservation I believe you should work with a lot bigger resolutions.

well personally I dont mind the black gaps and majority of people doesnt use higher resolution then 1920x whatever, so ...

You are right, the majority uses 1920x1080, _today_. But what about in a year or two? And personally I do mind black gaps. Anyway, ultimately you'll do as you want, I was just trying to help keep your images relevant for a longer time, that's all. And I really liked it and would have used it as a wallpaper if the resolution were higher.

I am not so picky on wallpapers, I have them on 'fit' since I dont mind black gaps, but maybe you are right .... the thing is why I am putting it into wallpaper category is that deviantart doesnt have appropriate category for these kind of pictures, so...

Probably one of the most detailed and realistic looking protoplanets I've seen on here onΒ along time. I do miss seeing this sort of stuff from time to time. Very cinematic
