Description
I had this idea for quite a while and I finally made it. The planet pieces are 3D rendered, the rest is Photoshop. Then I realized its almost the same as Greg Martins 'Shattered' so its not intentional, but perhaps it influenced me subconsciously. If only I knew how my mind works. Well anyway I hope you will like it!

It's a common theme I guess. I remember when I was a kid, years before knowing digital art was even a thing I draw something similar. It had the core of the planet intact and pieces of it blasting away that were shaped similar to this (i.e, surface of the planet still intact and rounded, with "stalactites" of rock protruding downwards from them) Man I forgot all about it until now

You are probably right. At some point every space artist tackles the similar topic I guess

Vždycky si říkám jak dobře vypadá to rozmáznutí části, kdy pak vynikne ta ostrá část. Ale nemám na to nikdy odvahu. Pořád se snažím mít vše ostré. Super práce, moc se mi to líbí.

I really like this overall, except...
What is going on the bottom left corner? The blurred/close rocks make for a jarring experience, compared to the rest of the image.
