Very cool concept! I have never though about using the paper as it's own background color before. I gues you really have to put a lot of thought into where you want your shadows to be... Excellent piece of work!

Hey, thank you very much!
I used a classic white paper, the black tempera for the background i added almost before the completion of the whole work.
