So this is my first ever tutorial It took longer to make then I thought it would, but I had fun

Great tutorial... you know ive never thought of using dodge and burn to bring out shadows and highlights in an image before i draw it, cool tip

This was very helpful!This is most definitly the best eye I've ever drawn! Thanks so much! I also really liked the materials. Having examples of pictures that were used for each material were very helpful since I am a very visual person.

the skin around the eye looks amazing...so real i mean the eye itself does look real as well but the skin is great

That is one cool tutorial. Better than watching a video tutorial.
What normal pencil would you recommend for those without a mechanical pencil?

I wouldn't recommend them haha, I just like mechanicals too much....even if its just a BIC school pencil, I think its better.
I used woodless graphite before mechanicals though, and I guess that would be second place thanks!!

Just DL'd the tutorial. It now hangs on the wall next to my "work station" (narrow shoe rack with florescent lamp ) Wish me luck!

This was an insta- before I evenread it the whole way thru! You are so knowledgeable and so humble to provide that knowledge with others, that they may sharpen their own skills.
