Freaking out in full color!...Final colors from Clive Barker's Seduth, double page 20-21. One-shot comic published by IDW in October, 2009. Script by Barker and Christopher Monfette, art by myself. Color by Jay Fotos.

¿acaso es 3D? perdon mi ignorancia, pero para mi eso es novedoso.
el concepto esta para el CD cover de algun album de TOOL xD

la publicación se hizo con efecto 3D, pero esta es la versión 2D previa...
en mi blog (www.gr.cl) y en el de Chris Ryall (ryalltime.blogspot.com) posteamos algunas páginas en 3D. para ver el efecto, hay que usar los lentes especiales con filtro rojo y azul.

me agradaba más la versión en B/N. el color hizo perder texturas y algo de la atmosfera que daban tus tintas, supongo que no había muchas opciones para Jay con todo el detalle que le diste a las páginas

Ojo sí que el efecto definitivo del color se aprecia usando el filtro de los anteojos 3D, que ciertamente altera el efecto final...

a bueno, me deje llevar por el tratamiento plástico que le dió Jay a la imagen, especialmente con el calvito.tendría que leerlo con los lentes

ojo que lo digo a modo de aclaración, no de justificación. la apreciación estética es relativa, y no todo tiene que ser de gusto universal...
de hecho, cuando a TODO el mundo le parece que algo está bien, entra a ser sospechoso... jeje.

How long did this take you? You illustrated every face in every bubble? This looks absolutely incredible, magnificent. This is truly awinspiring

three and a half days of very intense work...
In the end, the hardest part was to think of new different faces to fill all the bubbles....

Honerstly that is the best illustration that I've ever seen. In comicdom that is. I've never seen an illustration that has that much detail put into it. That is insane, crazy, absolutely incredible work. I can say enough just how magnificent I think that is.
My drawing desk and my computer desk are the same thing and both are in my front room. My wife walked by when I enlarged your drawing and she said. "Oh my gawd. That looks amazing." She then asked if I drew that. What can i say, she doesn't keep up with what I draw. She likes it, but she doesn't care. I told I wished that I drew it, but it wasn't mine. So what I am saying is if you can catch the eye of my wife, then you know it is good. She doesn't even look at my art.
