The first time I saw 2itAMPM, I was shocked.


My little sister (who was 4 or 5 at the time, she LOOOVES RS ever since I showed it to her) would probably like this! I thought. It's made by JG Quintel himself, so why not?

Still, that's just how some modern shows are these days I guess.

I mean, I get that it's a far more mature show than RS but, take Rick and Morty for example. That show started off from a parody of Back to the Future called "Doc and Mharti" which featured, among other things....

....Mharti sucking Doc's (highly detailed) ballsack to solve all of their problems. Oh and before you ask, yes. They showed it. ALL OF IT.

Yeah. I'm NOT even kidding. Seriously, if you thought Regular Show's origin was weird, hoo boy you ain't seen NOTHING yet.

With that said, I actually like both Rick and Morty AND Regular Show, to the point of the latter pretty much being my favorite show currently running on Cartoon Network right now, and (in my opinion at least), seeing both of the shorts that inspired... that (The Naive man from Lolliland and 2 in the AM PM) just made the series a whole lot funnier to me after seeing 'em

OHHHHH I love Rick and Morty! I haven't seen much of it, but I really do love the voice acting. I haven't seen the origins of RaM, but the whole thing of 2itAMPM honestly made me adore RS even more.

The one moment you mentioned though, oh dear christ. I would be just freaking out like "ewwww!!" But laughing my ass off at the same time. Even though JG and Sam were just getting high of acid candy, the voice acting and animation bits were perfect.

Oh! Speaking of RS, you should totally watch the Japanese dub of it on youtube! A few voices are spot on, I'm not even kidding. Mordecai is my most favorite character, but Benson's voice is just....wow. it's.....amazing. there's a couple other shows on re channel it's in that are japanese dubbed, but u recommend checking it out. P

Of course, they have to be creative about it though. The only swearing part I liked was when "Mordecai" was reaching for Benson's crank. That time was just funny, man

haha...that´s "ask to JG" is totally imposible(you know what I mean e_e) but I wish they do something like that!
